As a Poplar Union Volunteer you will:
- Represent Poplar Union to its visitors, promoting a friendly atmosphere
- Manage the Box office desk and enquiry desk where you will speak to the public regarding events and hire of the space.
- You will also set up the room for events and check in audiences on our ticket system.
- Completing registrations forms for all attendees and collate feedback forms after events.
- Hand out leaflets about upcoming shows and events and promote PU activities to the general public
- Adhering to Poplar Union and Poplar HARCA’s policies and procedures
- We are looking for lively and committed volunteers who can think on their feet, have a genuine interest in working in front of house and enthusiasm for our exciting new arts space.
- Volunteers are expected to be on time, act professional at all times and comply with our uniform policy for box office (t-shirts will be provided to all volunteers).
- Sign our confidentiality policy and are required to follow our code of conducts.
