The Hive Employment & Training service is located on East India Dock Road, and provides one to one employment support and free, accredited training to the local community and wider public.
We support many people into jobs every year, helping people overcome barriers to employment that include things such as mental health, childcare responsibilities and financial hardship.
We do this by:
• Exploring different career options
• Creating CVs
• Providing support with job search and job applications
• Finding work experience, volunteering and networking opportunities
• Providing support with interview techniques and mock interviews
Our training provision includes Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and short courses such as Common Health Conditions and Information, Advice and Guidance, all designed to boost employability.
We pride ourselves on helping people overcome gaps in their employment, work through multiple barriers to employment, and secure sustainable and meaningful jobs.
